The Authorized list of Software permitted to be installed on Army equipment in the Central Territory is: Notes Office 365 Suite Active Directory Any required Peripheral software such as Printers or Scanners The rule to go by is this: If it is not on the image of the PC when you get it - it is not permitted. IF you are forced to install any additional software it must: 1. NOT require administrative rights to run 2. Must be installed by IT staff 3. If it conflicts with software that is on the approved list it must be removed 4. Be documented in the Cayzu Inventory along with License #'s and Serial #'s 5. Be owned by the Salvation Army. No personally owned software is permitted to be installed on Army owned equipment. That being said - here are some fairly common installations that we have allowed: PDF995 ProPresenter LonelyScreen SalesForce Adobe CC Suite VLC Player Zoom Do NOT install DropBox (or any similar file sharing program) as a local installation. |
