Outlook - Web Client has Subfolders and Content that does not appear in local client
In the local client of Outlook: File Account Settings Account Settings Click on users e-mail address Account More Settings Advanced Check only the 1st box (Use Cached Exchange Mode) Uncheck Download Shared Folders Uncheck Download Public Folder Favorites This fixed the issue for 1 user (Sherry LaCerra) - however we checked another user who had access to the same mail file (USC Personnel) (Susan Weibel) and her local client was syncing correctly showing the sub folders and content and her 2nd check box Download Shared Folders was checked. The fix may have just been a glitch and by going through this process may have jarred her local client into working correctly - OR these checkboxes may need to be set in this way. We also stumbled across a google search that indicated there may be syncing issues if your shared mail file contains more than 5,000 subfolders. We are not certain what exactly fixed this issue - but if you encounter this - give it a try. |
