SAUSC_THQTrusted SSID

The SAUSC_THQTrusted SSID is published via policy to the SAUSC.ORG domain.  All windows users in the territory should have a personal certificate issued from our CA and be able to connect automatically to the network.

 

One User having Trouble Connecting:

  1. connect using a wired connection to the trusted network
  2. open a microsoft management console (MMC.EXE) on the affected device and add the "Certificates" snap in.  
  3. launch "Certificates" from the MMC
  4. browse to Personal (top of the list) and look for a certificate titled the users name.
  5. delete the certificate and while still in the Personal folder select "All Tasks" "Request New Certificate"
  6. restart the computer after you have logged in, you should be able to unplug from the network and be automatically connected to the SAUSC_THQTrusted wireless network

All Users having Trouble:

  1. verify USCTHQRDS02 is running and responsive  (this is the radius server that verifies username & password supplied at login are valid)
  2. verify certificate is valid, not expired - Certificates (Local Computer) - Personal Certificates - uscthqrds02.sausc.org - Exp Date  If expired, follow steps outlined above to request a new certificate.
  3. verify that the Aerohive manager is up and responsive.  Login Credentials are required https://10.221.78.8/hm/logout.action
