Outlook - How to export an outlook mail file
1) Open Outlook
2) File - Open & Export - Import/Export
3) Choose the option Export to a file - Then click the Next button
4) Choose the option Outlook Data File (.pst) then click the Next button
5) Make sure the Include subfolders option is checked then click the Next button.
6) Check the file path of the exported file to make sure where the .pst file is going
a) Under the Options section choose Replace duplicates with items exported then click Finish button.
For Macs
The steps are the same, but the Outlook file is a .olm file
