Active Directory Local - Windows 11

 

1) Login as local admin

 

2) Go to Control Panel > View by: Categories > Programs > Programs and Features

 

3) Under Programs and Features select Turn Windows features on or off

 

4) In the new windows check the box Active Directory Lightweight Directory Services > Ok button

 

5) It will take five to ten minutes to install the service then restart the PC

 

6) Log back into your account

 

7) Go to Control Panel > System and Security > Windows Tools > Active Directory Users and Computers

 

8) Pin to the taskbar or your desktop
