How to tell if an AD User Profile is Licensed or Unlicensed

1. Do you know the Employee ID #
   1. If Yes:
      1. Open AD
      2. View/Advanced Features
      3. Action/Find
      4. Advanced
      5. Click on Field and choose User, Employee ID
      6. “Starts with” and then the Employee ID
      7. Add, Find Now
   2. If No
      1. Open AD
      2. View/Advanced Features
      3. Manually open the Division Folder, Department Locate the User Name
      4. (Do not use a search function it will not work)
2. Open the users Profile
   1. Click on Attribute Editor  (if this tab does not show you did not do the earlier steps correctly.)
   2. Scroll down to Employee ID
3. On the Account Tab
   1. User Log On Name should be john.tate
   2. If it is a number it is unlicensed.
