How to install HP Papercut network printer on a mac
1) Install the HP Printer essentials install pkg file.
2) After the installation go to System Settings
3) In the Search Field type “Printers”
4) Open Printers and Scanners
5) Click Add Printer
6) Enter your credentials to authorize the printer installation.
7) Click on the Advanced Icon
8) In the Type Field choose “Windows Printer via Spoolss”
9) In the URL Field type “smb://uscthqpapercut/HP%20follow-me”
10) In the Use field – Click the dropdown and choose Select Software
11) In the Name field type “HP Papercut”
12) Choose the driver called “HP Color MFP E786-25-30-35” if it matches the model number to the HP Printer
****If you can’t find the HP Printer essentials install pkg file then you will need to install HP Easy Admin software to search the HP Printer and download the essential software only to install the drivers for the HP printers
