Litmos - How the process works and troubleshooting a user's Litmos account

1) Make sure the user has an employee ID (EID) in ADP (volunteer, unlicensed, or licensed)

Ask the divisional HR to make sure that they have an EID in ADP

2) Look for the user in Active Directory (Unlicensed and Licensed users)

Volunteers will not show up in Active Directory

If the person does not show up in Litmos and has an EID look at the USC Litmos Account Creation Excel Sheet

In Microsoft Teams > USC IT News & Projects Team > General channel

Look at last Thursday Excel report > Open it > Non-Created users tab > Find the user's name

When you find the user's name contact the divisional IT saying to create the user in Active Directory.


3) Look at the Object tab and look at the creation date

If the user does not up in Litmos and has a creation date of less than two days then they won't show up in Litmos

It takes 48 hours for the person to show up in the Litmos system
