Steps to import contacts from Notes into Outlook

  1. Start Notes and open your personal address book.
  2. Verify all desired contacts are available/listed. 
  3. Choose File | Export Contacts from the menu.
  4. The default options (All Documents, Field Names,…) are good.  All you need to specify is the directory to store the file and provide a file name.  Be sure to give the filename a “.csv” suffix.
  5. Open Outlook
  6. Choose File | Open & Export from the menu
  7. Click on Import/Export
  8. Select Import from another program or file.   
  9. Select Comma Seperated Values and then use the Browse button to look for ans select the file created in step 4 and also select the desired option regarding duplicates.  Click Next.
  10.  Browse through the list of folders to find and select Contacts.
  11. Click Finish to accept the default field mappings.  Your contacts should now all be available in Outlook.
