How to install DataLoader for CRD Department

 

 

  • The dataloader folder is in the Attachments section of this article

 

  1. Go to the following website:
    https://www.azul.com/downloads/?os=windows
  2. Then choose Azul Zulu Builds of OpenJDK

  3. Click on button Download Free (.msi)

    1. The msi file will start to download
    1. Click on the option for the MSI file and once the file is downloaded, run the msi file. If it doesn't install then run as different user
      1. Enter the local admin credentials
    2. Once the Zulu MSI file has been downloaded from the website, double click on the file to install the program.  Enter admin credentials to install the program.
  1. Create a new folder in the root of C: called Zulu (C:\Zulu)
  2. Right click on the Dataloader.zip file and choose option Extract All
  3. Extract the Dataloader files into the Zulu folder under C:\Zulu
  4. Click on the link below to download the latest version of dataloader
  5. Right click on the install file and run as other user.  Then enter local admin credentials
  6. A command screen will open then type Yes and press Enter
  7. Then it will ask for a Desktop shortcut then type Yes then Press Enter
  8. for a Start Menu icon type No then press Enter then exit the command prompt window
  9. Once that has finished in the command line go to the C:\Zulu folder
  10. Right click on the dataloader - X.X.X uber and send to Desktop
  11. Double click on the dataloader and it should bring the Salesforce Dataloader
